WHO WE ARE

Ice Coast Skimo is dedicated to growing fast and light back country skiing in the Northeast of the United States (and Quebec!).

Ice Coast Skimo has three focus areas:

1) FAST AND LIGHT SKIMO COMMUNITY BUILDING

Everything is always better within a community. Ice Coast Skimo brings together fast and light ski mountaineering folks through in-person events and online conversation via Slack, Strava, and Instagram. Join our Slack group here!

2) UPHILL ACCESS ADVOCACY

We seek partnerships with ski resorts to ensure uphill access for the broader backcountry skiing community.

3) SKIMO RACE PROMOTION

We partner with existing skimo race directors to help promote the sport of skimo racing.
